  • Great place to work - too bad they sold the company. I really liked working there.

    Pros

The job had good benefits and great co-workers. It was a nice and clean office. There was a parking deck so it felt very safe.

    Cons

I did not particularly like the annual review set up. I didn't feel I got any working feedback. The review process was anonymous so there was no way to discuss improvements etc. in person except for with the immediate supervisor.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a weekinterviewed at Colonial Properties Trust (Birmingham, AL).

    Interview

I contacted the company via networking based on a prior work relationship. They happened to have a position open that would fit my experience and skill set. They then contacted me for an interview. I spoke to three supervisors in two separate interviews. I also took two online skill tests for Excel and Word.

    Negotiation

They offered a reasonable salary so I accepted.
