    Pros

Comcast is really great about hiring some of the best people that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Benefits are excellent across the board. Management, for the most part is approachable for assistance when needed. Great training programs and meetings.

    Cons

As is likely typical of most corporate environments, Spotlight has a tendency to attempt to reinvent the wheel when the wheel wasn't in need of repair. Changes in the economy shouldn't dictate sweeping reform for your sales staff.

    Advice to Management

When deciding how to proceed from a budgetary standpoint from one year to the next, you would serve the company better to emphasize quality over quantity. Several of your more seasoned AE's enjoy/enjoyed very low account churn. That should be emphasized and rewarded over quantity of accounts. When Spotlight decided to mandate all AE's carry 25+ accounts per month, churn skyrocketed, AE's felt panicked and clients noticed a reduction in their AE's presence and attention to detail.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast Spotlight.

    Interview

Basic sales interview questions. Asked if I was ok with traveling and being flexible with some nights and weekends meeting client needs. Met at a Starbucks, which gave the interview a relaxed informal feel. Met with the sales manager id be working for which was a big plus, and showed me they probably care about they're employees if she was willing to meet me herself.

    Interview Questions

    • how do you work with a team? have you ever been in sales with a quota to meet? have you ever sold to small business...basically all questions that asked would I be good at this specific line of work.   1 Answer
