The co-workers are great. I got along great with my co-workers and that made work enjoyable. It made me look forward to going to work every day.

The location isn't the greatest part of town. The neighborhood surrounding the office is a little bit sketchy but it isn't like you are in a crime zone.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to increase the pay for the software developers. Salaries for software developers in the Kansas City area can be much higher than what they are paying.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Command Alkon.

I was contacted by a recruiter in HR. We talked on the phone to get basic background information and to forward on a copy of my resume to them. Within one to two days, an interview was set up. The in-person interview was with two senior individuals and lasted about an hour.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions were more big-picture stuff rather than Q&A stuff like "What is the big-O for linked lists". The questions were more about finding out further information regarding your experience with X language, design patterns, and scrum.   Answer Question
