I have been working at Community Health Systems full-time (Less than a year)RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEORecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
I've worked for CHS for less than 6 months and the department I'm in is know as a starting point. By doing what I was asked to do they have already started talking about moving to another department for training. Opportunities are everywhere.
My department at one point got a comp day and time and a half for working holidays ore days when the rest of the office is closed now we get time and a half only while everyone else gets the day off paid. Kind of sucks now.

If this is true the company should man up and take care of the kids. Also buy a hospital in Nashville so the corporate people can take advantage of some of the benefits that the hospital employees have.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Community Health Systems.
Phone call first interview was pretty straight-forward nothing out the ordinary. After phone call second interview is scheduled at the facility with members of department staff and more direct work related questions nothing big out side if windows server questioning and VMWare stuff.

They offer a variety of medical, surgical, and emergency services and generally have ancillary facilities that include doctors' offices, outpatient surgery centers, and diagnostic imaging facilities.
