    Average Interview

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Compass Lexecon (New York, NY).

They had me in for a five-hour first-round interview (yes, pretty unusual), which consisted of various interviews with different senior staff; one behavioral, one case, and one going over past research experience and relevant education. It ended up being just a couple of hours followed by lunch with a staff member. Pretty straightforward and they were generally friendly. I was annoyed that they didn't reach out to tell me I wasn't invited for a second-round interview given that I had skipped a class to go on-site and interview with them for a couple of hours.
