I worked at Con Edison of New York as an intern (less than a year)

It is a large and one of the most renowned electric utilities in America. There is a lot of flexibility if one wants to gain experience at different departments.

The company is sometimes too large that it is difficult to get in touch with a person since there are too many intermediaries.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be much better if upper level management contacted relevant departments before making major changes that would affect a lot of departments.

    Positive Outlook

I found out about the position through my school career website. Met two past Gold program members at a networking session then at a career fair. Received a campus interview within 2 weeks. Fortunately, I was interviewed by one of the past Gold program members that I had previously met. Within a week, I was invited for a 2nd round interview at the main office. Was told that I would know about the results within a month.
