Most of us know someone who had or has been impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Today we're honoring two brave residents who stood up to cancer and won: ‪#‎CHIRPs‬

    Stand up to Cancer

In celebration of September's Stand Up to Cancer Day, we would like to share the stories of two of our strongest residents. These residents have experienced the scare of a cancer diagnosis, but with mental strength and determination, they remained positive as they battled the diagnosis head-on, ultimately defeating this terrible disease.

#CHIRPs There's a special meaning behind the name of Francines's Café at Oakbridge Healthcare Center in Lakeland, FL - this is how it came to be:

Serving More than Soda, Snacks and Coffee

Francine's Café serves much more than soda, snacks, and coffee. In fact, it is the thriving cornerstone of the Oakbridge Healthcare Center's community. Francine's is a place where residents can come together for casual conversation and good laughs. Although the café initially began as a way to help support the Oakbridge Activities Department, it has since evolved into something much more.

I was extremely impressed by the efficient onboarding process performed by Consulate when I was hired. From the friendliness of the recruiter to the new hire package completed electronically it was a quick, uncomplicated process. I have worked in the HR/hiring process with two prior companies and neither one was even in the ballpark. I am also impressed by their approach to information management with in the company. I am very happy with my decision to move to Consulate at the corporate office.

facility level training is an issue from a billing aspect, however this is something the company is aware of and is working to address

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Consulate Health Care (Maitland, FL).

Phone interview with two recruiters, phone interview with supervisor, then face to face interview The interview process was very easy going and casual unlike most interviews that can become intense. Left each interview feeling at ease and confident.
