I have been working at ContextMedia, Inc. full-time (less than an year)Pros
Everyday I am excited to come to work knowing I have a job that is purposeful, challenging, and ever evolving. Even better, I get to work with individuals who share the same ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality. It is no secret as to why ContextMedia continues to achieve new heights of recognition. Our leaders ensure that the empowerment and cohesiveness of our team members is the number one priority!Cons
As a mission-driven organization fueled by the passion of its people, the hiring process is strategically designed to take more time to acquire the right talent. Often times, the team feels the growing pains and has to exhaust their resources and work long hours in order to get the job done.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Continue to incentivize growth opportunities based on performance. It is very motivating to know that neither tenure nor age equates to more responsibility. If I want to grow my career, I simply have to work hard and consistently exceed my goals. I look forward seeing what my future holds here at ContextMedia!RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- Application Details
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months – interviewed at ContextMedia, Inc..Interview Details
The entire interview process took two months. Thinking back on it now, I should have stopped the process WAY sooner than I did, because two months is ridiculous.
Step 1: Phone interview with HR. Very typical. Tell us about yourself, background, etc. Discuss the company and the position.
Step 2: In person interview. You'll meet with a couple people and also do a job shadow. Again, very typical questions on background, why you want this position, etc.
Step 3: Another in person interview. You'll meet with multiple people again. I'm pretty sure they want you to interview with every single person in the company. This time you'll interview with one of the CEOs. Again, you'll see a pattern here, very typical. Expect to literally say the same things over and over when you get asked the same exact questions over and over from different people.
Step 4: A happy hour, which is basically an interview, to see how you "fit in" with current employees. It's a small group of about 3 or 4. They'll ask you the same questions you've been asked the past 2 months, so at that point you could probably do the interview in your sleep.Interview Questions
