  • Simple work

I worked at Continental Pools part-time

    Pros

Most of the pools they staff are small, one guard pools that require little effort to maintain. Its always easy to get extra shifts.

    Cons

Usually ten hour work days with little to no human interaction. Gets very very repetitive. You can go a couple days with no one coming to your pool.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Interacting with the scheduling interface on the website can be a bit of a pain.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Continental Pools (Annandale, VA) in May 2014.

    Interview

Was not offered an interview. I simply applied online and was offered a selection of training dates to complete my lifeguard certification. Employment was contingent on training completion so I guess the lifeguard training served similarly to the interview process.
