    I have been working at Copper Cellar Restaurants full-time for more than 3 years


    I have worked for copper cellar for 4 years and I have enjoyed every one of them. I started working for them while going to school. They have always been great about working with my school schedule, intern schedule, and request days off. I was consistently able to make money while meeting new and interesting people. The cellar has a great reputation in the community with opportunities to be promoted with in. I loved working with the staff and the management who wants to develop your skills in food service wine presentation and customer service.
    I also enjoyed the fun fast paced environment of working on a college campus. Game days are crazy busy with hundreds of people flocking in all in orange ready to have a good time.


    High management turn over. Consistently changing rules.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I have always loved my management staff who consistently treats heir employees with respect and consideration. If I had any advice it would to be to improve training methods. Actually have an orientation week and maybe bring out side consultants or managers from other stores to share their knowledge.

    Application Details

    I applied in-person. The process took a day - interviewed at Copper Cellar Restaurants in August 2011.

    Interview Details

    I walked in the copper cellar and asked for an interview. I was given a small sheet to fill out while I waited for a manager. It was a short interview asking questions on experience and areas I had worked in. I received a call back after 2 hours of leaving to come in the next day for training.

    • Basic questions on service and experience. If you have worked in multiple ares of service this might be helpful. If you have never worked in this field maybe consider asking for a hosting job first with the opportunity to move to a serving position   Answer Question
