I have been working at Così part-time (Less than a year)RecommendsNeutral OutlookRecommendsNeutral Outlook
Schedule is very flexible. Manager is very open to schedule adjustments. Food is delicious. They want you to grow in the company as fast as possible if you have the drive. Coffee is free. Food discount is kind of generous but should be free.
Customers hardly tip. Customers do not know there orders half the time. Occassional customers try to steal condiments. Customers will be your worst enemy if you do not have a positive attitude while being very patient. POS feels a little outdated. Dependin on your team, your first month may be very hard adjusting to the fast pace enviroment. No benefits. Can be very exhausting and hot!
Advice to Management
Please update your POS. It has been 3 years. Food should be free to all employees. cooking areas should be ventilated for the cooks and bakers (poor guys) Employees should not get fired for just plain evil customers, we've lost a lot of great teammates because customers do not know what they are ordering. Cosi should have commercials, their food is delicous.
