I have been working at Couchbase full-time

    Pros

Fast paced environment .. no bureaucracy and office politics .. Everything is said at face value.. Everyone takes an interest in all work done by individual teams... Lots of transparency at work. Brilliant co-workers who are very humble and always willing to help.. Lots of opportunity to learn.

    Cons

No cons really. Just need to work hard to keep up with all the brilliant employees that work here.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.. And when Couchbase becomes a big company please don't change the dynamics. It is a brilliant place to work in.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Couchbase.

    Interview

Contact came through a recruiter who was sporadically involved in the whole process, which took 4 months to come to a final conclusion. In all, I spoke with two recruiter-contacts and had 3 telephone interviews. Everyone was very friendly and keen to get to know me and find a mutual fit that would benefit Couchbase and me (a second job/title was also discussed during the interviews). In the end, we parted ways amicably, agreeing that I was not the right fit for Couchbase at that time. Based on this experience, I have since referred others for positions at Couchbase.
