    I have been working at Coverall full-time

    Pros

    I like Coverall for a couple of different reasons. One, as an outside sales consultant it honesty is a decent paycheck. Two, the fact that you work a steady schedule and Three because the commissions are realistic.

    The company values are pretty standard in my opinion nothing crazy and no over the top hype.

    The office culture varies differently depending on the local office so I cant say its a pro, however in my office the environment is chill but shady on the low.

    The independence as an outside salesperson is ok, yeah you're tracked but I get it whatever...

    The commissions are super realistic but the process to get accounts closed can be very stressful if not carefully planned.

    Cons

    The high stress of working a B2B sales job is very present at coverall. I don't think that those on the upper management REALLY gets what its like on a local level. Especially how the high demands effect lower level management to team member communication.

    I give them credit for reacting swiftly to reasonable requests however the execution of the solution is always lackluster.

    The IT department is also below par, both in follow up time and in results driven strategies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I think its important to take a look at the employee benefits package an come up with a wellness program that allows free gym memberships to help employees relive stress.

    I also think it would be beneficial to require that salespersons attend a NATIONAL sales expo with public speakers and team building programs etc. this should be a two week educational venture with our top suppliers of the equipment the F/Os use to clean the accounts with cleaning demos and product knowledge. there should also be mini seminars for specialized sales an example would be, if you really want to be an expert on Barbershops there would a seminar for that, or pet stores.

    I also hate that sales managers are outside hires...who does that? if you are experienced with 2+ yrs why cant you run a sales team...but clearly that's none of my business.

    unorganized, unprepared sales manager, didn't even know the exact salary of the position, and didn't know the exact commission plan. "something like that" Not something someone wants to hear. From the interview I was not very confident in working for this guy, or this company. Interview was very easy, I think I asked him more questions than he asked me, and he could not even completely answer the questions without stumbling on his words. Seemed like he didn't want to be there himself.
