I have been working at Cowan Systems full-time (More than 10 years)
I have been an employee for 24 years. I was able to work my way up in the company to a Safety Director position. It wasn't easy - being smart, dedicated and productive is necessary and it should be. All these reviews about how bad the company is - comes from a person who didn't want to work but collect a paycheck. A person who didn't give the company a chance to correct an error or mis communication. No one at this company has an "office" - from the President down everyone has a cubicle - total open door policy. There's been a lot of changes over the years - management can only fix a problem if given the opportunity. There's no crying/whining in trucking
I don't have any and that's because I'm a hard worker who's been recognized. This opportunity is there for anyone if they want to work and apply themselves.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing. Talking - visiting terminal locations - giving feedback and working very hard to ensure this company will be around for a lot longer.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Cowan Systems (Baltimore, MD) in September 2015.
Recruiter called to basically go over my resume and asked basic questions about my work history, why I wanted to leave my current employer & my education since I'm still pursuing my B.S. I had to apply for the same potion 2 times over a month to get to this point only to find out that they pay way below industry standards. I knew I would be taking a paycut from my current position but WOW was it a huge cut if I proceeded here.
