I worked at Crestline Hotels & Resorts full-time

    Pros

It was a good working environment. We had the ability to make decisions and use our judgement, without the fear of being "written up" which is a good thing.

    Cons

Unfortunately the pay is far too low. Hours were cut dramatically, even during busy season. Even with cut hours, the flexibility to find a new position to make ends meet simply was not there, and it didn't take long to figure out that I was being paid less than those with a little less experience. This forced me to move on to another property that paid better, which is unfortunate because I liked working at crestline better than the position I took after that.

The only room for growth seems to apply to favorites. It isn't about experience or merits, and people notice these things.

    Advice to Management

Value your longer term employees. Movement shouldn't be given to the favorite employees.
