Great pay, lots of miles! I've been with Crete over 10 years now and I've made over 60k every year, even through the recession.

I stay away from home a lot. I only average 2-3 days off each month. You can't make any money in the trucking world if you're not driving.

    Advice to Management

Get more employees in the shops. There isn't any reason that a working driver should wait more then 6 hours for an oil change. And keep the shops open at night and on weekends(that's when drivers aren't working)

I applied online. The process took 5 weeksinterviewed at Crete Carrier.

Online application. One week to get a call back to set up phone interview. Phone interview with 2 people. Tons of situational questions asked. References called 3 days later. Then got a call for 2nd interview with 2 people. It was short as short of a meet face to face as most questions were already asked over the phone.
