I have been working at Crete Carrier

good equipment and service. Comfortable trucks. pays all toll charges and EZPASS. Lots of miles. good trailers. nice terminals with good showers and facilities. great benefits and medical coverage, 401k and profit share. lumper pay.

some dispatchers are real jerks, in certain areas of country. GPS tracked everywhere so must be right on the log book at all times. sometimes presses to hours very tightly. some loads are too stressful. lots of very heavy (80K) limits and make it difficult to be legal weight on all axles, but manageable. must have hazmat even though very few loads are hazmat. getting to be very big and not as "family" oriented as it started out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get back to family values. treat drivers with more respect and courtesy, instead of just another number.
