Decent salary, good retirement. Some decent people. Fast paced, always interesting.

Absolutely no recognition for off hours, no positive differential for off hours, extremely poor morale, management are game players, management will do anything to make themselves look good and are only playing for their day shift. It's allowed for drivers to talk negatively continually about off hours, when most of the issues were daytime decisions to begin with. Management needs to forge a unity. Maybe put some day people on off hours or rotate some shifts. Workload for off hours is overloaded. Drivers deserve full attention on the off hours when they call in, but due to management not recognizing the off hours overload, this cannot change.

    Advice to Management

Get some shift differential salary changes or you will continue to lose off hours staff at record pace. Make working off hours worth something. Third shift should be a higher differential. Step up the positive morale boosters in a professional and meaningful manner, what occurs currently is pathetic in that it's of no respect to anyone accept those on days. The turnover is tremendous, you would think that is an indicator.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Crete Carrier.

Online application. One week to get a call back to set up phone interview. Phone interview with 2 people. Tons of situational questions asked. References called 3 days later. Then got a call for 2nd interview with 2 people. It was short as short of a meet face to face as most questions were already asked over the phone.
