I have been working at Crowe Horwath full-time (more than 8 years)

I have worked at Crowe for more than 8 years and have had many growth opportunities and am well paid. I enjoy the culture and have access to top leadership via communication channels.

The challenge is that it is a growing organization that was founded in South Bend Indiana. Crowe wants to be a large company, but struggles with the thinking from when all personnel worked in the same office. It is a double edged sword. Crowe is not trying to be the big 4, yet wants to play and grow to a bigger middle market. Much like having growing pains, it is finding challenge with the processes and consistency across the organization when many offices want to run like small businesses. To be a large player one has to have a consistent business model.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My only advice is to really examine where leadership wants to go. Crowe will get there as there are really talented people. But, much like other industries, it will be challenges to keep the new hirers engaged and not have a revolving door. Crowe as an organization really needs to learn how to bridge gaps with the new, younger staff, with those that have been at Crowe for some time. Crowe needs to find a way to stop their talent from walking out the door.

    Interview Details

Interviewed for an intern position after submitting resume in person at job fair and talking with recruiter; got a call a few days later. As for the interview process, two back to back interviews, first with a manager and the second with senior manager.
Asked about risk, controls and knowledge of industry, second interview was more conversational.
