I have been working at Crown Holdings full-time (More than 8 years)
The company offers great benefits and a pension plan. They are big on promoting within, so there are plenty of opportunities for growth and movement within the company.
The hours are 8:30 - 5, and they offer no FLEX time, which makes it difficult to maintain good work/life balance, especially for those with children. In general, it seems like most of the employees are under paid in comparison to similar positions at other companies. In terms of time off, you start out with 2 weeks vacation. You have to work there 5 years before you get a third week of vacation and 15 years to get 4 weeks vacation - which is the max. All vacation is "use or lose" within that calendar year and there are no personal days.

I applied online. I interviewed at Crown Holdings (Hanover, PA) in July 2015.
Had two separate phone interviews back to back first. First I interviewed with both Plant Manager and Plant Operations Manager, then I interviewed on the second phone interview with Corporate Quality dept bosses followed by an in person interview at the Hanover plant. Overall the experience was very easy and pleasant and average. There was not a standard way for the interview questioning to occur, it was very sporatic.
