I worked at Cumulus Media full-time (more than an year)

Loved the incentive program, games, and prizes we would have in the sales department. It is high energy, fast paced, and fun! Decent health, dental, and perks.

Commission based can be scary! If you do not meet your goals the whole draw against your commission structure is horrid and you can end up owing the company money. Some months you are making money hand over fist, but if you don't budget accordingly the off months will hurt you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Providing your sales employees with a living wage/base salary would help with retention. Those who don't fit would be weeded out anyway, and it would only help with morale.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Cumulus Media in September 2014.

    Interview Details

I had three interviews at the Cumulus station in Little Rock, Arkansas. One of the interviews lasted from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. They seemed extremely nice and basically told me they were going to hire me, but after the 3rd interview with a corporate guy in Atlanta I never heard back from them. The entire process took three weeks and yet they could not even call me back to tell me I did not get the job after they led me to believe that I would be hired within the coming week. I even called to check in and they would not answer. Very unprofessional.
