I worked at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Small Office, group of individuals who really care about what they do.

    Cons

Employees usually arrive extremely early and stay extremely late with very many weekend events.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Needs more organization. Very little oversight, and each individual has to do every single thing for every single event by themselves.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

    Interview Details

Got an e-mail response two days after sending in application, and set up a phone interview with HR for the following day. There weren't really any serious questions, the most significant was if I was aware that it was a part time position. When I asked about future opportunities for advancement, the representative became inordinately hostile and combative. She told me that this position would only ever be part time, and they couldn't risk hiring and training anyone who would leave after a few months. So, innocent ambition to move forward is NOT tolerated. She concluded the interview by saying that she would send my materials to the local office, but I get the feeling it went into the trash.
