About DMC Atlanta
In 2003 DMC Atlanta was formed in Atlanta, GA in response to a demand from large companies for a more effective, personal and results-driven approach to acquiring new customers.
DMC Atlanta specializes in direct sales and marketing on an outsourced basis for the most respected companies in the cable & satellite, retail, and telecommunications industries. DMC Atlanta offers our clients 100% return on their marketing dollar - a statement few other marketing companies can make. By focusing our efforts on a face to face, relationship-based marketing approach, DMC Atlanta is able to bring our clients life-long customers with increased name-brand recognition and high levels of customer loyalty.
DMC Atlanta started slowly with eight people and one client - working relentlessly to build a strong foundation. The image of bamboo on our website symbolizes our belief that true, long-lasting success comes only when explosive growth is preceded by the development of strong roots. We even have a bamboo plant in our lobby that we got in January of 2004 to celebrate the opening of our first stand-alone office! Whenever we open a new office, we snip off a piece, plant it in a pot, and place it in the lobby of the new location.
DMC Atlanta starts each day with a high-energy, intense morning meeting. Our activity-based management atmosphere allows top performers and managers to interact with all members of our team. No "executive wing" at this business! Everyone works together to make the business better.
Every week our team votes to elect a team member of the week from DMC Atlanta's sales and marketing account manager team. That person has an opportunity to speak in front of the entire DMC Atlanta team and lead a meeting or workshop.

DMC Atlanta and our national team attended a National Leadership and Awards Conference for the Direct Marketing Industry from July 27th-29th in Atlanta, GA. The team had an opportunity to hear from NCAA Champion Anthony Robles, senior team members, and professional speakers.
At the conference, Partner David Ahn (Ft. Worth, TX) earned the 50/50 Club Award, Chad Harpole (Charlotte, NC) was awarded 20/20 Club, Jenna Huss was awarded for excellence in HR, and DMC President, Adam Dorfman was awarded Million Dollar Club, DirecTV Center of Excellence, and "Consultant of the Year," an award celebrating the largest organizational growth of any affiliate team.

Since we opened DMC Atlanta in July of 2003, we have had a strong commitment to charitable organizations and giving back to our community. DMC Atlanta is part of several direct marketing, sales, and advertising networking groups and organizations. In 2011, we partnered several other organizations to support Operation Smile - an organization that funds mission trips throughout the world for doctors and volunteers to provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
In total, DMC Atlanta has raised over $10,000 for Operation Smile!
Beginning in 2009, DMC Atlanta began hosting multiple blood drives per year with the goal of "saving a life a day per year." Since each pint of blood can save up to three lives, the DMC Atlanta team has been able to help save nearly 1000 lives since our blood drives started!
DMC Atlanta's management training program is designed to train and develop people from all degrees and walks of life from entry level marketing and sales representatives into managing partners within our organization. Whether you are a recent college graduate or a professional with years of experience, you must begin at the entry level in order to earn a management position in our firm.
DMC Atlanta’s philosophy of rapid, merit-based promotion means that you advance based on performance, not seniority. Our motto is that “we work as hard for you as you do,” focusing our attention on those individuals who put forth the most effort and show the most dedication and willingness to learn, grow, and develop.

I worked at DMC Atlanta full-time (More than a year)
- Great learning environment - The training in sales, leadership, business and strategy benefit you outside of the office as well - The training (again), coaching, and mentoring - there were so many resources in any area I needed help in - The people - being able to be around positive and competitive but friendly people was awesome - I personally learned how to grow up - DMC Atlanta taught me budgeting, finances, communication, how to keep going when things weren't where I wanted to be, how to take accountability, and how to be more responsible - DMC Atlanta encourages mistakes and that helped a perfectionist like me not be as hard on myself because I'm not in fear of messing up - they recognize messing up is inevitable - The bottom line is I learned how to run a successful business, every step of the way - the good, the disheartening, and the evolution that all careers take - which was great because now I do own and run a business and their development program taught me the 'how to's'.
- It's not only challenging, it's actually hard at times - most of those times, though, were the points where I grew the most - The pay is average for this type of position (base, commission, and bonuses), unless you're great with sales, which wasn't always my strong suit - If you want to excel you DO have to put in extra effort - you truly have to work for what you want - DMC Atlanta doesn't baby you, I know it doesn't seem like a con, because people don't like to think that of themselves, but, so many of us (myself at first) feel very entitled with so many things that we don't even realize- and it's a hard reality when that sits in.
Advice to Management
I've been fortunate to complete the Management Development Program and thrive in running my own business and for that, I thank you and the training, developing, and coaching that I had. My advice would be to not only have everything be merit based (as it is), but to have a tenure based bonus that is tied in with achievements.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DMC Atlanta (Sandy Springs, GA) in July 2015.
It was really quick. They called me the day right after I submitted the application online. One was face to face interview, which was not hard. The other one was on-site interview. They showed us the working place and let us to ask questions. They clearly presented they were sales marketing company.
