I applied online. The process took 2+ months – interviewed at Daimler Financial Services in April 2014.Interview Details
Just a couple of days after completing the online application, they sent me an invitation to the online assessment test. This included the typical pattern recognition test and an attitude test.
The results of how you did will be available to you the next day, without any evaluation as to whether you are appropriate for the role.
I was finally invited to the Assessment Center only almost a month after the online assessment, which was a week before the assessment center. Five candidates are invited per Trainee position. We had to complete another online assessment to test our speed and accuracy, which apparently holds high importance on the first day. This was followed by an English test, where candidates had to discuss freely with an English native speaker about a given issue. After which, there is a self-presentation and a group discussion that was observed by six personnel.
At the end of the first day, we would find out if we qualify for the next day or not. Three get through to the next day, which begins with a greeting by the relevant department (which you applied for)'s boss and his HR personnel. Candidates were then given a case study relevant to our position, and had to present it on a flipchart to them. This was followed by a roleplay in another room, to determine how candidates would react towards difficult subordinates when in a leadership position. Finally, there's a presentation done by the relevant department's boss and his HR personnel, and an interview with them.Interview Questions
