Current Employee - Athletics Facilities Info Desk Receptionist in Hanover, NH

I have been working at Dartmouth part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

My work place at the Athletics Facilities has flexible times, and if there are conflicts with time slots they are always taken care for even on a short notice. Generally speaking there are lots of varying positions across numberous departments so it is relatively easy to find work that is intersting. Overall great people and good atmosphere.

    Cons

They could pay better (close to minimum now in many jobs) for the jobs. On the other hand many of them are simple info desk/receptionist work study positions where it is possible to do homework while at the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Slightly better compensation would be great, other than that everything is pretty good.

    Interview Details

It was a very lengthy interview process... multiple interviews/chats, a panel phone screen, long visit with a nice tour. Everyone was friendly though! I wouldn't recommend going out of your way unless you LOVE Dartmouth... as these people clearly do, which is a great thing. Location isn't especially great if you are not accustomed to NH life.
