I have been working at Dataprise full-time (less than a year)

So I started mid October as a Network Consultant - I came from another MSP and its fast paced here just how I like it - I'd be bored if it wasn't. Plenty of opporunities for bonus, my manager is awesome ! If you haven't worked for an MSP before, you are in for a STEEP learning curve. This place is full throttle all the time but if you think thats a bad thing then you are in the wrong game - no free rides at Dataprise and that is exactly how it should be !

This place is BIG and some processes as a result can be a little cumbersome compared to what I was used to coming from a smaller MSP - its a negative in one respect but in another, very little falls between the cracks due to thorough processes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing your thing - Been really impressed by the attitude and ethos of Senior Management. I was expecting when I joined with the size of the company that Senior management might "sit in their ivory tower" counting their money and surveying their domain but they are at ground level making sure they know exactly what is going on - Keep it going !

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Dataprise.

    Interview Details

I want to say they found me, I don't remember applying. The initial interview process was nice, however they were very unclear about the job in question. They refer to "White Label" and "Product support" without actually telling me what that meant. As such, I accepted a position that was largely a dead end. White label entails proprietary work with systems that have virtually no use outside of Dataprise. Additionally, I was originally told the position would pay "Mid to low fifties" and was ultimately offered 45k AFTER they shortlisted me for four weeks. I understand it's business, but it doesn't make me any happier about it.

    Interview Questions
    • The technical questions asked were rather vague, and honestly seemed more like a "How many problems can you come up with that could be the solution" than an actual question. That being said, that's not a bad way to do it. Just good to know.   Answer Question
