    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Defense Contract Audit Agency full-time (More than a year)

Nice co-workers, good benefits and there is a lot of locations for possible moves later on if you like moving around. The job is good for someone that like to sit in front of the computer all day building spreadsheets, crunching numbers, reading contracts and trying to find issues relating to cost accounting.

The training doesn't always fit with the work you are being assigned. It's not like a regular auditing position and takes time to learn, even if you have outside auditing experience.

    Advice to Management

Management isn't the problem. The problem is the training program isn't set up to teach training that is needed to meet specific individuals.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Defense Contract Audit Agency (Battle Creek, MI) in July 2015.

I applied and got a call for an interview within a few weeks. None of the questions were accounting type. The questions were situational such as "tell us a time when you had to work as a team to overcome an obstacle..."
