At Delphi, employees take their commitment to environmental responsibility seriously — on and off the job.
Green processes. Green products. Green-conscious people. At Delphi, being "green" is more than a management philosophy — it's a way of living — and it shows. At every level and in every process, Delphi takes its role as environmental steward seriously.
As an industry leader in supporting environmental issues, Delphi works to minimize environmental impact and reduce its global footprint through finely tuned, efficient manufacturing operations. By developing energy-efficient products that require fewer resources and that offer increased recyclability and lower emissions, Delphi helps customers get serious about protecting natural resources, too.
Environmental stewardship is key at Delphi's global manufacturing operations, where continuous improvement of the plants' environmental operations is a primary focus. From updating and streamlining production processes on the plant floor to recycling resources in an office, Delphi employees around the world are dedicated to protecting natural resources.

Delphi strives to achieve an effective global philanthropic program that supports our business objectives while helping society, particularly in the communities in which we reside. Delphi's three-part approach to philanthropy includes the Delphi Foundation, Delphi Community Relations and Delphi Volunteers.
Delphi's community relations program is designed to make us an integral part of the communities in which we operate. We recognize that by improving the lives of our employees and their families wherever they live and work, we are improving the company, too. The priority also is largely educational in focus, but contributions are tailored to local needs and priorities as well.

I worked at Delphi as a contractor (less than an year)Pros
My university was near a Delphi engineering center, so they put a lab in our research park to allow for electrical or computer engineering students to gain experience. I worked in that lab under a more senior engineer on a project. I gained a lot of experience with how projects flow in the automotive world. It also functioned as a sort of internship in the summer, which took a lot of stress off, as I was able to just stay in the same apartment and not have to worry about moving around the country for internships. The pay was also pretty good for a part time job, though a little lower than an internship opportunity would have been.Cons
The only issue I can think of is that because the lab I worked in was separate from the lab that the full time employees worked in, there could be a bit of a disconnect. But other than that everything was great.RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEO
