I worked at Dentsu America full-time (More than a year)

Friendly co-workers, nice office and location. A good place to get your start, learn the industry and meet nice people. Office happy hours on Thursdays were nice and casual dress was great.

Unless you're being hired for a manager or above position, the salary is very low considering the amount of hours worked.

    Advice to Management

Try to incorporate all groups into agency meetings - some groups never got attention and felt isolated.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dentsu America (New York, NY) in May 2012.

When I got to the interview, I waited for 20 minutes before the HR director came out. When she did, there was no apology for keeping me waiting for so long. To make matters worse, she said they offered someone the position the day before. So my interview lasted approximately 5 minutes of her rushing me through my background and telling me that she'll keep me posted for any future positions that may come up. Someone could've called me to at least inform me the position was taken, instead of me wasting my time going to their location. Jobseekers are treated very unfairly and it's unfortunate that employers disregard people's time and efforts these days.
