As the pioneers of face-to-face fundraising, DialogueDirect's fundraisers provide our charity partners with the following services:
- Engaging with the public in one-on-one, face-to-face conversation in outdoor and door-to-door settings
- Representing our charity partners with well-informed, passionate dialogue, to inspire donors to join our cause
- Interacting with donors to build trust in our charity partner's programs, fielding questions, and conveying the details necessary for an informed donation
- Collecting long-term, monthly donations through our software program, Waysact, designed to provide a fast and secure donation experience for both donors and clients
- Providing the above services with a focus on urgency and donor empowerment
One of the oldest charities founded in the United States, Children International has been fighting for basic human rights for impoverished children and their families since 1936. Their programs are wide ranging, providing sponsored children with nutrition, clean water, regular medical care, and most importantly, education. They operate sponsorship programs in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Columbia, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Zambia, India and the Phillipines.
Children International engages with donors through its child sponsorship program. The monthly support sponsors provide for their sponsored children is tremendously valuable to Children International, and so the charity does everything it can to foster a connection between sponsor and child. Through hand written letters, pictures, community center updates, report cards and even Skype calls, donors can witness firsthand the heartwarming impact their donation has on their sponsored child's life. Donors are also offered the opportunity to meet their sponsored child in person at one of Children International's community centers abroad.

Our newest charity partner, Oxfam America is part of a seventeen member coalition to end hunger and poverty worldwide. Oxfam America, in operation in the states since 1970, fundraises for the impoverished worldwide, dedicated to creating lasting solutions for the root causes of poverty.
Oxfam’s approach is about tackling the conditions that cause poverty in the first place, rather than the distribution of material goods. They begin by identifying the conditions that create poverty and find ways to fight those conditions at their source. Their work involves disaster relief and rebuilding, public education and empowerment, and fighting to change laws and practices that keep people trapped in the cycle of poverty.

All of our Team Leaders, Campaign Managers, City Coordinators, our CEO and our Founder they all launched their fundraising careers as face-to-face canvassers! As you join us, we will focus on developing your abilities and helping you to meet the challenges of face-to-face fundraising. As your communication skills and confidence grow, if you demonstrate the drive, time management, training aptitude and motivation we need, the opportunities for growth are extensive.

Nick is literally the best boss I've ever had, and every employee there is incredibly willing to help you succeed. This is a really great work environment where people work together and help enough be as good as they can possibly be. People here work hard and support one another.
The job itself sucks. It is incredibly difficult and you really have to be willing to take a lot of rejection. You also really have to have the right personality to be able to do the job well.
