I worked at Dimensional Innovations full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly people who collaboratively produce outstanding work. Great environment with lots of activity and never a dull day. Management is very present and it is easy to work with other people from different backgrounds. Not much bad to say out this great company!

    Cons

With the amount of influx the company sees at times anyone new or in need of training may be put on the back burner...over time things are learned and picked up, but streamlining this process would aid the company as a whole seamlessly working machine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

DI is growing, which is an awesome thing, just make sure that there is enough HR and management staff to accommodate the needs of any and all new folks that join the team.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Dimensional Innovations in September 2012.

    Interview Details

I had 4 interviews (indecisive bunch). First one was a basic tour, with questions like "define what design means to you". Second interview was more in depth talk about the job itself (they didn't have a job description though - it was just a list of things they wanted accomplished), third and fourth was meeting with the PM I'd be working with.

    Interview Questions
    • The only one I remember was "define what design means to you" along with your basic "why do you want to work here" type questions. All things you would find on any "what to ask in an interview" site.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
They offered, I said I wanted more vacation time, they gave me like... 3 more days.. and that was it. I had recently moved and needed a job asap so I unfortunately wasn't in a position to wait for something better to come along. Looking back now? I should have.
