Domino's – Why Work For Us?

The Domino's Culture

undefinedImagine working with dedicated Team Members in more than 70 markets around the world, hand-crafting delicious meals and delivering them to families each day.

Some companies tend to think ‘work’ is the antithesis of ‘fun’. Not Domino’s! Our motto is “Sell More Pizza, Have More Fun!” This is our culture. We try to create an atmosphere that is fun as well as productive. We work hard, but we do it together. We deliver great service to our customers and we are constantly looking for ways to improve.

The quick service industry – and pizza, in particular – is a competitive place…and we like to win! That competitive streak carries over to our World’s Fastest Pizza Maker competition.  Any Team Member can be timed to compete in regional events around the world to make large pizzas to precise specifications. The fastest regional times qualify Team Members for the World’s Fastest Pizza Maker championship, where they compete for the title and cash prizes.

The Domino's Team

undefinedDomino's began more than 50 years ago as one small pizza shop in Ypsilanti, Mich. Today, we are the recognized world leader in pizza delivery and you can find us almost everywhere on the planet, growing to over 11,000 stores worldwide in more than 70 markets.

That kind of growth doesn't happen by accident. It takes leadership, commitment and an ever-evolving team of passionate people who love what they do. Our success is accomplished when our exceptional franchisees and Team Members deliver great service to our customers! Our Team Members at the World Resource Center, supply chain centers, stores and our Franchisees who are focused on growing our business and making, baking, and taking more than one and a half million pizzas to customers' doorsteps every day are the backbone of our company. The Domino's Team is hard working, committed to excellence and serious about having fun. There are more than 205,000 Team Members employed by nearly 400 corporate-owned stores and a system of nearly 5,000 U.S. franchise-owned stores. Of those, 13,000 are corporate Team Members, and more than 500 are at the World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Corporate Careers

undefinedOur corporate offices are home to exceptional people supporting thousands of Team Members in our nearly 400 corporate-owned stores, nearly 5,000 domestic franchise-owned stores and our international franchise base that operates nearly 6,000 stores in more than 70 markets. We also manage our own supply chain business, a rarity in the quick service restaurant industry. We have marketers and lawyers. Accountants and communicators. Trainers and lease negotiators. International business consultants and human resource representatives. Safety specialists and product developers. There are many more dramatically different roles to fill, but they all have one thing in common: Domino's people are fiercely proud of who we are and what we do.  We work hard and we work together. We are honest and we are always looking for new ways to innovate. If you have those same traits, we'd love to have you on our team.

The office is minutes from downtown Ann Arbor, and less than 30 minutes from Detroit's Metropolitan Airport. Domino's is located in a scenic rural setting in a building known as the Prairie House at Domino's Farms Office Park, and whose external architecture was inspired by the works of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Delivery Driver Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Boston, MA
    Anonymous Employee in Boston, MA
    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 6 daysinterviewed at Domino's in December 2014.

    Interview Details

I filled out an online app and got a call 2 days later. The town I live in is very wealthy and not many people will work their so they're desperate. The guy who interviewed me was very nice and pretty much just asked me basic questions like how my driving record is/how old I am. A few days later he sent me an email offering me the job but I had to decline because my insurance agent explained to me that I would need to pay a substantial amount in commercial insurance to deliver pizzas; essentially there's no point for me to pay this since I'm a high school student and I'd only be able to work once in a while.

    Interview Questions
    • Nothing remotely difficult, but clean driving record and at least a year of driving experience is essential.   Answer Question
    Declined Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview
