I have been working at Driehaus Capital Management full-time
Incredible talent pool. Hard working. Successful Independently owned. HR and Senior Management that cares very much about employees thoughts and morale. A CEO with great vision who takes the time to know each and everyone of the employees. Very diversified in products and employees. Very unique work place An owner who is very involved in the company. Company events that help provide great comradely between the employees and different departments - Many of these events allow spouses/significant others/a date.
Really nothing that sticks out other than a multiple train/bus commute if coming from the suburbs. I have been in the business 27 years, and have never seen a work environment more employee conscious than the one at Driehaus. The success of the firm is a direct result of the employees. And the avg longevity of employees careers at Driehaus speaks for itself.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what your doing. Focusing on new products and diversity, while keeping an ear open to the employees thoughts and needs. Continue to allow the "family" atmosphere to grow.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Driehaus Capital Management (Chicago, IL) in May 2015.
3 Interviews. Two phone, one in person. You will get a email, with a chance to provide a time that works best for you. In addition, you will get a chance to schedule another interview with a person you will work with directly. After that, if they like you, a in-person interview will be scheduled. The decision won't be made just yet, another phone call to talk about what your future entails... most likely you will receive an offer at this point. Oh, and a decision will need to be made urgently at this point, a day or two.
