The pay is decent and it has a fairly laid back atmosphere. The buildings are very well maintained and coworkers were always great to be around.

Dupont being involved with Pioneer has seen the company take a downturn. The stock price has risen but company moral has dropped. They have also made it more difficult to move up the food chain. I think they also did not plan very well for the drop in commodity prices.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to realize that making it impossible to move up in the work place kills employees motivation. There is an unusually high number of people that do not think it is possible to get a promotion.

I applied in-person – interviewed at DuPont Pioneer.

First we had an in-person interview where we discussed my background and skills. They asked probing questions to make sure that I understood at a deep level. They asked both "HR" and "data science" type questions. Then they sent me an coding challenge test, then came the final interview in Iowa. Everyone was very nice and friendly, but they definitely checked to make sure I knew my stuff.
