I worked at ESI International (More than 10 years)

Able to obtain my associates certificate in project management. Years back a former supervisor tasked me to produce a guide for our department. In the past you were able to cross train with all departments you interacted with. Bring this back and departments have a tendency to have a better working relationship. I took my classroom training and used it with a few of my outside organizations. This was a wonderful experience. Back then I encouraged people to take a few classes with ESI.

After the guide was produced. The new supervisors acted as if they had no clue what I was speaking about. Thank goodness I had the fortitude to save the document. Some department meetings have no life in them. You just sit there like bumps on the log and go along with the program. The turn over rate is very high. It was not that way when I started back in the late 90's. Just before bonus time look to be on the list to be laid off. Every year in February wait to see who is on the list.

    Advice to Management

Watch your back because you are sitting high right now. You may be the next one on the chopping block. Some of you are still there because you have been covered and been placed in. SAFE position.
