I have been working at Einfochips full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
Company works on projects that include domestic robots, UAVs, Drones, 4K / Smart TVs, Digital Signage, Tele Medicine, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud, eCommerce -- based on technologies from leading companies like Qualcomm, NVIDIA, TI, Freescale, MongoDB, Microsoft; for Fortune 1000 companies. A great place to build a strong technical foundation.
Conservative management - which to some may take getting used to it, but it offers long term and stable work environment, opportunity for internal growth and opportunity to do something new every 3-4 years without having to hop jobs. Management promotes to bring best idea forward - from any corner - not necessarily promote only thoughts of higher ups.
Ahmedabad & Pune are buzzing cosmopolitanism town (30% of eInfochips A'bad folks are from outside the state) - with over 200+ startups now in the IT field, great schools & infrastructure, one of the safest cities with commute times of less than 30 mins - allowing a great work life balance - and a wonderful environment to raise a family.
Opportunity to travel often to the US, meet with customer, learn the latest technology and trends.Cons
Conservative management -- will not take undue risk; some older office building are now going through a face-lift (Newer offices in Ahmedabad, Pune and Bangalore are definitely state of art). You'll hear people talk at times in vernacular language - while HR does promote speaking in English. Weather during summer months in Ahmedabad can be really hot.
While pay is at market, benefits package could be better.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Adopt new-age work practices - for working from home, better benefits packages, day-care/nursery/Gym and swimming pool - at the new 10 acre campus that is being built in Ahmedabad.RecommendsPositive Outlook
