I have been working at El Pollo Loco part-time (less than a year)

    -Great job experience
-Meet a lot of great people
-you might pick up a bit of Spanish
-very flexible hours if you are a student
    -very understanding and caring managers
    -adequate training
-plenty of hours if you want them

    -Favoritism is very much played
-you only see your schedule one week ahead
-you have to call or go to the store to see schedule
    -minimum wage
    -hard to get a raise
    -Typical Rude customers
-Can get boring after a while
-schedule can be changed without your notice which causes you to mess up which leads to a decrease in hours.
-only hires part time (I believe it's because they do not want to give full time benefits)

    Interview Details

I entered the restaurant feeling extremely nervous because it was going to be my first interview ever. I wore black slacks and flats and a nice blouse. I had applied a week before and got a call 4 days later to schedule an interview. The manager seemed nice and i got interview in the lobby where every customer eats also they gave me a free drink while i waited. The questions are what you should always expect in an interview such as tell me about yourself, have you ever had any experience working in a fast food restaurant. The interview was exceptionally easy and i was given the job of a cashier on the spot :)
