I have been working at Elliot Health System full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

We have a new CEO who is down to earth, cares about the employees, and wants Elliot to be a top 100 Hospital. HR, management, and senior leadership have really taken a step to improve employee satisfaction, equipment needs, and involving the employee who works in the trenches.

    Cons

The look of the hospital, capacity, and benefits. I have heard these issues are currently being looked at. I realize these are not easy fixes, but I can see out if the box thinking and changing the way we are doing things for the better. Every workplace has things to work on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

An area where senior leadership has fallen short is communication. I will say if the past couple of months there has been consertive effort to improve this.

In addition to general and surgical care, the hospital offers rehabilitation, behavioral health, cardiology, and lab services. The system also... More
