Our History
Founded in 2002 as XMC Inc., Enaxis Consulting is the brainchild of Dhiren Shethia and Jonas Georgsson. Shethia and Georgsson merged their global management consulting backgrounds to provide a unique but simple method of counsel for clients seeking the more personalized business focus that only smaller consulting firms can provide.

Medical Care
Enaxis’ Medical plan is designed to protect the individual needs of eligible employees and their dependents. Employees are given the option of choosing a plan that plan that benefits their individual needs. The medical plan offers employees and their dependents the choice of a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) option or a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) option. Both options include prescription drug coverage.

Dental Care
Enaxis’ Dental plan provides coverage for diagnostic and preventive services, as well as, basic and major services. Coverage also includes orthodontia for dependent children up to age 25. Because our benefits are designed to suit your needs we offer both a DHMO and a DPO for you and your family.

Vision Care
To help employees cover the expenses associated with eye care, Enaxis offers a plan that provides coverage for exams, lenses, frames and contact lenses.

Disability Insurance
Enaxis offers long-term disability at no cost to our employees. We also offer low cost short-term disability insurance to provide our employees with continued income if they should be temporarily disabled.

The Enaxis Consulting 401(k) plan is available to all employees and includes discretionary profit sharing.

Companies like ours are only as good as the people who work for them. Our team is made up of exceptional people, who know how to work well together as a team. To foster a culture of camaraderie, we enjoy a number of regular activities throughout the year:

  Every Third Thursday of the month there are All-Hand Meetings which are followed by a Happy Hour.
Friday Lunches also give us a chance to review the week in a cordial setting.
Seasonal Events where we attend everything from Galas to Astros games.
"Enaxis Active" gives us a chance to cheer each other on in marathons and other community activities.

    I have been working at Enaxis Consulting full-time

    Pros

    Value offering to the client is immense. My colleagues are very high-caliber consultants, and it is a truly collaborative team. I have both reached out for and provided expertise in areas where a colleague (or me) felt their skills needed a boost. You are never out there alone on an assignment -- I feel like someone's got my back at all times. Training and continual education offerings are excellent. You really can grow here, if you have the right attitude and make the commitment.

    Cons

    Senior management is brilliant and personable, but often too busy to understand an issue in full. Everyone is spread thin, possibly an effect of such a dynamic firm. I work a lot -- not sure I have ever achieved that work-life balance that is talked about... Expectations could be made clearer; onboarding process is good, but has not covered enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Approach growth cautiously. Do whatever you can to not lose the collaborative, family-feeling that keeps so many of us there. Also, maybe spend some time with each of your consultants on a regular basis to maintain that personal touch, take one of your employees out for coffee every day.

    Recruiter trolls LinkedIn, etc. and reviews resumes submitted and then contacts possible candidates; phone interviews with recruiter, in-person interviews with founders and employees at various levels including a case interview designed to test reasoning, I.T. knowledge, PowerPoint, and Excel skills; after input from all interviewers, founders decide on whether to make offer or not
