    Pros

The company is starting to come out of a bit of a period of stagnation, and it feels exciting. There's been a lot of badly needed change - new CEO, better leadership, new strategies, new office spaces. Teams seem to be finally working well together!

The company has stayed true to allowing remote work, employees tend to enjoy lots of flexibility. Commitment to open source efforts and involvement with conferences and community events are still a great part of the company culture.

    Cons

Not everything is figured out yet, and there's a strain on resources to get lots of things done - sometimes that can be stressful.

    Advice to Management

As you work to refocus the company's strategy and trajectory, more could be done to keep employees happy, involved and engaged.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Engine Yard.

    Interview

Received a call from someone with title "Head of Human Resources", certified in PHR (checked her LinkedIn profile). She setup a call with me to go over the some high level stuff. She said she will get back to me.

3 weeks passed and no news. I did follow up with her, but went nowhere.

I am sure she is not calling hundreds of candidate, only a few of them. She should at least respond on whether they want to move to the next step or not.

If this comes from the HEAD OF HR, I don't want to work with this company.

PS: Based on my research, the VP of Security AND the Director of Security left in the last 12 months. Not a good sign..
