The Enlivant Environment

Since 1981, when we opened our first community, we’ve delivered a pioneering approach to assisted living designed to give residents a supportive, stimulating environment where they will thrive in mind, body, and spirit.

In every one of our assisted living communities, our compassionate staff help our residents maintain their wellbeing, form meaningful connections, and engage with the things they care about. We work to meet each resident’s unique needs, with quality care and an environment that offers a sense of belonging for our residents, as though they are a member of a family. 

We respect the culture and personality that forms in each one of our communities. Because our communities are more intimate than many, with an average of 40 to 60 apartments per location, we are able to tailor our programs to the interests and abilities of our residents. We help our residents do the things they’ve always loved, or find new interests, make friends, and rekindle their own spark.

Enlivant Residence Positions

Residence positions are available in one of our more than 200 assisted communities located across 20 different states. Members of our residence teams supervise and coordinate services and care for a single assisted living community.

Positions include Residence Director, Wellness Director, Residence Sales Manager, Personal Assistant and more.

Enlivant Regional Positions

Regional directors and specialists provide leadership to our residences and communities across multiple states. They are responsible for overseeing the operations, growth and development of communities in their assigned region. 

Enlivant Corporate Positions

Corporate positions oversee and support the residential and regional teams. They also develop the overall strategies for business development and company growth. A variety of corporate positions exist at Enlivant.

    I applied through college or university. The process took a weekinterviewed at Enlivant (Ellensburg, WA) in May 2015.


    I had one week to prepare. I contacted the Company Director. I researched the company, and the Director who interviewed me.
    By not trying to be more or less than I had to offer this company, this gave me confidence.

    I wasn't stressed prior to this interview, because I was comfortable with what I know in this field, and I prepared by creating a resume & cover letter specific for this job. By not trying to be more or less than I had to offer this company, this gave me confidence, as well as the Director that interviewed me, who was professional, yet down to earth. The interview questions were scenario type questions, and I appreciated how my experience in another field became relevant in this interview.

    The entire process went very well, except their were several interruptions, however, that is the cost of doing business as the Director, and he needed to be available for the areas that came up to distract him from our interview. It may have gone a little differently if I was an actual candidate for the job (as opposed to the mock interview it was). The culture was positive, and energetic, and all the way around I felt very fortunate to interview with this man, and any person would be very happy to be working with him.

    He is a strong leader, and loved by his employees. Not hard to see why, he was the best interviewer I have had in my lifetime, and the company is fantastic! If the job had been open still, I would have considered it because it was so good.
