Epitec – Why Work For Us?

The ultimate technology talent search agent.

Whether you’re an organization looking to optimize your technology services and workforce management, or top talent looking for a promising new opportunity, you’ve come to the right placement company.

In our own right, Epitec offers a unique skill set — a proven process for fast delivery to our customers, an award-winning compensation and benefits package to attract top talent, a best-in-class employee care experience to retain our awesome people, and something else you can’t write a code for: working with people who are refreshingly easy to work with. It’s why we not only attract some of America’s top companies and brightest minds, but retain them — year after year.

We’re only as good as the candidates we deliver to our clients. So we want you to be very good, indeed. Are we selective? Yes. And we’re that way with the companies we work with, too. Better candidates for them, better opportunities for you. Makes sense, right?

And to enhance the talents you already have, we offer you an entire Support Team whose sole mission is to utilize every asset we have to assist your training, your development, and find you the best position to optimize your talents.

A little icing on the cake—we manage to make that process pretty enjoyable. That’s part of what makes Epitec different.

Employees can participate in benefits that include: Group Health Care, Dental Care, Term Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Vision, Section 125 Participation, and 401K Contributions with Company Match.

We stick with you down the road, too—maintaining a dialogue, continuing any necessary training, and monitoring your satisfaction (plus our client’s, of course) to make sure the working relationship is working for everyone.

From there, because you want a career, not merely a job, we’ll provide the ongoing challenges you need to grow professionally.

Check out our talent blog. Many people just like you think we’ve helped them do just that.

Be a valued resource to our customers. To build a company that will last by being a healthy and profitable organization that continues to grow.

We accomplish this by offering the highest quality technological talent and servicing a prominent roster of top companies. And by hiring and maintaining an expert, enthusiastic staff of people we produce results for our clients. Our people are not just capable; they are also a pleasure to work with.

Epitec is committed to innovation and collaboration, empowering each of our people to contribute intellectually, passionately and proactively. We embrace the differences in one another and capitalize on our collective strengths to provide superior service to our customers.

We embrace change, encourage forward thinking, and recognize that our customers, our talent and our employees all represent the infrastructure of our organization.

In 1978, Epitec founder and current “Head Visionary Honcho” Jerry Sheppard broke away from traditional corporate America to launch his own entrepreneurial quest. His goal was to harness unique thinking, generate unique systems and create unique ways of doing business to tackle the demands of the rapidly changing and highly challenging technological environment.

To help businesses take advantage of early computers (there were days without them, remember?), Jerry established Comprehensive Data Processing to provide the resources that companies needed to migrate from paper to electronic capability. This company later evolved into Epitec, a company known today for forward-thinking and advanced technological capabilities.

True to its startup philosophy, Epitec, a 100% African-American owned and operated firm, embraces entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to customer service excellence. While the past 30 years has brought economic highs and lows, Epitec continues to produce steady growth, product line innovation, and most importantly, highly satisfied clients.

We work very hard at being a good company. We work equally hard at being a good corporate citizen. So we’re proud to match every contribution our employees make to charities whose work benefits others in our communities. Just as importantly, we donate our time, and our talents, helping however we can.

So we invite you to join us in assisting these worthwhile organizations. When you give back, even a little, it’s amazing how many lives move forward.

If you pass the phone interview, they will bring you in for a one-on-one interview. This is more detailed questions about your past work experience (behavioral questions). Questions were not too bad.
If you pass your in-person interview, you will be brought in for a third interview with a top level executive. This is more of a formality to make sure your personality fits with their company.
