I worked at Erie Community College part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of freedom and support in teaching style, choices. Terrific library support.

    Cons

Little opportunity for advancement. Adjuncts are underpaid compared to full-time professors. We sometimes teach a full-time course load for a fraction of the salary.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Erie Community College (Buffalo, ND).

    Interview

Applied online and received a phone call to schedule an interview. Interviewed by 3 faculty/staff. Questions are mostly about my teaching experience, teaching philosophy. No unexpected or difficult questions. Interviewers were very friendly and nice.
