The co-op program is really well organized, and your team is always interested in making sure you get the experience you want. They work with you to make sure that they can find a way to align your goals with the work that needs to be done. They give you responsibility, which can be challenging but it is also the best way to learn. Also the culture is great. The people are all friendly and very helpful.

Can be difficult for a student not majoring in mechanical engineering (due to the nature of the work). Just requires some extra effort on their part to learn and contribute.

    Advice to Management

Take another look at the exit interview questionnaire and see if there is a way to better understand a student's goals for the next term to give them a good fit the next time around. The current options (at least what was current when I left) can sometimes be too vague.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Ethicon.

I was contacted by the recruiter then the hiring manager. I came for a face-to-face interview then was invited for a field ride and a subsequent interview. The interviewers were polite and very professional and represented the company well. They were honest about expectations and next steps and followed up.
