I worked at Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I liked the flexible scheduling (worked well around school), minimum supervision (I was trusted to work alone in the evenings, after most employees were gone), and the routine of the job. I knew what to expect every day going in, for the most part. I also liked that I had the opportunity to pick up hours sometimes. The management I interacted with was very caring.

    Cons

I really don't have anything bad to say about this job.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 6 daysinterviewed at Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.

    Interview Details

I applied online, got a call from the DON, and went in for a one on one interview. It was straight forward and very traditional. You are required to do a one on one interview, then you have to take a physical therapy exam making sure that you are competent enough to preform your job duties. Drug testing is done randomly within the first 120 days of employment.

    Negotiation Details
No negotiation. They use their "own system" (that makes no sense) to interpret real world experience into a numeric value of experience for their company, and that is how much you get paid. It's unfair and insulting.
