I have been working at Evantage

I started working at Evantage relatively early in my career. I intended to start getting a foundation with the company and to leave after I got some decent experience, but I soon realized that the personal growth that I felt was addictive. During college I grew quite a bit, but I realized that in the first month or two at Evantage I grew possibly even more than I did during my whole college experience. I wouldn't have traded my time working at Evantage for anything.

A lot is demanded out of employees. That is one of the greatest strengths of this company, but also a weakness for some people looking for a job. At the end of the day people who succeed in this position will not take this as a negative.

    Interview Details

After submitting my resume online, I heard back both by email, and then a phone call to schedule a interview. The recruiter was very helpful and emailed me directions that were easy to follow. My first interview was with the owner of the company. I loved hearing about the story of how the company was founded and where they were heading. I could tell that the atmosphere was very positve, results driven and goal oriented.

They explained the process of working with the client and selling and marketing the products to small business owners. I was given the opportunity to move forward with a second interview. The second interview was a job shadow. I loved that they allowed me to spend a day and learn more about the culture, advancement, and meet other team members first. Also, it allowed me to show them that I was hard working, eagar to learn, and a good fit for them to train.

Everyone was very professional, answered my questions directly, and I was impressed by the people they hired and trained. I was excited about the growth and where I could fit in. At the end of the day I sat down again with the owner of the company for a final interview.
