I have been at the Clinic for 20 years. They offer great healthcare insurance, retirement and profit sharing. They are growing at a rapid pace including building new clinics at new locations. The Clinic strongly believes in promoting from within so there is a lot of opportunity to move up. They support work/life balance. I am in a non-clinical area.

Overall, I don't really have a lot of cons. Sometimes they keep managers that are ineffective. Pay is usually very competitive but be sure you know what you are worth and ask for it if it's not comparable to the market.

    Advice to Management

Check in with every staff member occasionally to make sure things are going well for them at work.

I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at Everett Clinic.

The quickness of the hiring process is not a strong suit of TEC... so if you apply and don't hear back right away, don't get discouraged. Each interview process is different, as there is not a set way to interview at TEC. Interviews are based on the management and/or department in which you are applying for.

    Interview Questions

    • Because each interview is different I can't think of any specific question that you'll be asked. Once I was asked if I was a spice in a spice rack, which spice would I be. Another time they asked a question specific to the priorities of the position ~ so it's a good idea to research what the position is and what it entails to get a good understanding.   Answer Question

I never had an opportunity to negotiate... though I've heard stories about people doing it, so I know it's an option.
