    The entire organization is based on a agent success approach. They do not charge the agents for every little thing or even to just have your license there. They are dedicated to the success of the agents and although they are a big company it still feels like a family run company from corporate all the way down to the individual office. People working together to make the entire organization "team" a success. Great training (free), great extended training at minimal costs (nothing wrong with the agent having some "skin" in the game to make you work harder to succeed. On top of all of this they have a wonderful sponsorship program that pays residuals even after you have retired and/or passed away. The ability to earn over 100% is a gift that just keeps paying.


    The name is sometimes hard to explain but once the story is told they never forget you or the name. Advertising is not what some of the national franchise companies have.

    Advice to Management

    Try to expand national brand recognition with advertising and marketing outside of the national associations and more in to the general public.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Exit Realty (Montclair, NJ) in September 2014.


    Not much of an interview; in real estate, as long as you have a pulse they will "hire" you. If anything it's just a normal conversation you have when you meet someone for the first time. I met with the broker and my recruiting agent, I was told about the company background, fees, commission split, and alternative ways to make money within the company. After discussing that and being asked if I was still interested, we took a tour around the office and I was introduced to everyone present. Then I was sent home with a folder of information related to the company and everything that I would need to get started for me to take a few days to ponder on.

    There is no negotiation; they offer one of the highest commission splits in real estate without you having to "rent a desk".
