The Road to More Effective Recalls

There's nothing more important to all of us here at FCA US than the safety of our customers and their passengers. That's why we're taking steps to improve not only the way we communicate product recalls, but the number of vehicles customers are bringing to dealerships to have those repairs made.

    Honoring Those Who Serve

Many veterans returning home have years of experience in the field but without college degrees, are unsure how to apply their skills as they look to rejoin the workforce. INNOVATION

It's a dynamic, challenging climate we work in. To stay ahead in the automotive industry, you need to embrace change, cherish competition and think bigger. BOLDER. And that’s what we expect from every member of our team, in every role. It takes a nimble company to compete in the global marketplace and, today, our products are sold in more than 120 countries around the world. You’ll find FCA a fast-paced work environment—one that will keep you challenged and growing from day one.

How far and how fast you grow in your career is yours to own. You’ll get the freedom to think for yourself, the encouragement to share your ideas and the rewards to make it worth your while.

PASSION

We don’t look at the product we produce as simply a car or a truck or a minivan. These are truly labors of love. To us, every design, every piece of engineering, every new technology that makes up our offering represent opportunities to innovate…explore…invent. You can apply yourself in ways you never imagined here. The energy is dynamic.

COOPERATION

We may be independent thinkers, but we’re a team, committed to treating everyone with dignity and fairness. We’ll expect you to bring—and voice—your point of view. You’ll work with people from different countries, different backgrounds and different disciplines who offer totally different perspectives. And we know that embracing our differences makes us stronger, more innovative and more in tune with the needs of our global client base.

Our Commitment

"As CEO of Chrysler Group LLC, I have taken on the role of executive sponsor of the Global Diversity Council to underline the importance of diversity in our company. I personally feel privileged to have the opportunity to lead this company…and to work with all of you to build this company and our great brands into all we know they can and should be. That effort starts with leadership.

Our Diversity Strategy and initiatives are governed by the Global Diversity Council, composed of the senior leadership of the company. The Global Diversity Council provides leadership on actions and initiatives contributing to our inclusive workplace culture and multicultural marketplace.

Great leaders are those who have the courage to challenge the obvious, to travel uncharted paths, to break away from convention and the old way of doing things, to be unpredictable to the competition and to go beyond the tried and tested—men and women who understand the concepts of service, of community and respect for others. That's the kind of behavior we all must expect of each other and of ourselves. It leads to an engaged culture.

Culture is the fabric that holds organizations together. It is not just an ingredient for success; it is the essence of success itself. What will make all of this possible is the culture we are going to build with great teams based on mutual respect and openness.

Chrysler Group LLC and its people have a future with promise. We will reach the full measure of that promise only as one, united diverse team."

Sergio Marchionne, Chairman and CEO, Chrysler Group LLC

    Pros

FCA has evolved into an amazing company that has potential for advancement and truly takes care of its employees. The company as a whole has innovative and interesting products in market as well as many years to come with future products.

    Cons

Like many large global companies it is easy to get lost in the mix and easily forgotten. Get too comfortable in a position and competition is lacking as there are so many layers and divisions globally. Not to much to write in this section as at the end of the day every opportunity is for you/I to create not the company we work for.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop great cars that people want to buy and buy again.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Auburn Hills, MI).

    Interview

Applied on the website and exactly 2 days later received an email asking to set up a phone interview. After the phone interview was asked to provide more information via an application on the website. One week after completing additional information received phone call asking for on site interview. The onsite interview was at their Auburn Hills headquarters which is a pretty nice facility. I met with two managers that interviewed me using the SAR format. Really focus on the results when answering the questions. About 2 weeks after the first on site interview I was called to come in for a second interview. The second interview was like the first but this time with senior management. During each interview everyone I met with really seemed nice and were genuinely interested in getting to know me and what I had to offer. 1 week after the 2nd on site interview I was offered the position.
