    I worked at Fairview Health

    Pros

Flexibility with your schedule was the greatest benefit as well as overall friendly coworkers. Enjoyable and comfortable work environment. Overall mission is heartfelt and a place to be proud to be associated with.

    Cons

Personal growth very subjective and tied to how well your manager liked you. Not metrics driven in any way. People are in positions not always due to competence but for political reasons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage managers to move to various areas within the company or at least within their area of expertise every handful of years (HR, Finance, Operations, etc). Managers staying in the exact same role for multiple years isn't always a great thing for themselves, the department, or the company. Bring in fresh faces, fresh ideas, and rotate managers to new roles.

I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Fairview Health in August 2014.

    Interview Details

The interview process was fairly straight forward. I received a call from HR who set me up with an interview with the hiring manager. A few days later I was called by HR to see if I was interested in accepting the position. The whole process was less than a week.

    Interview Questions
    • The interview questions were all straight forward case scenario questions. Basic nursing care and basic triage questions.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Negotiation was straight forward as well. I did not feel the need to ask for more, since the starting salary was more that I was making at a previous job and was above market.
