    Pros

-Private company with access to senior management and ownership -Excellent brand recognition in major markets -Opportunity to gain broad and deep experience across functions and segments -Strongest capital position in the history of the company

    Cons

-Tough regulatory environment with increasingly difficult standards -Independent operating companies do not yet fully leverage opportunities for synergy although significant progress has been made

    Advice to Management

Many strides have been made to bring the company closer to a unified vision, strategy, and operating company. However, we have a long way to go here and two things must improve for us to achieve our full potential-1) Improved clarity and coordination of communication, and 2) Leveraging and retaining our most talented people for our most significant opportunities.
