Amazing local company to be a part of in KC. Those who believe and practice the company values succeed, and those who don't typically can't hang and weed themselves out. Lots of opportunities present themselves for people to go above and beyond their posted job descriptions.

Benefits are a bit expensive, but certainly not a con unique to FishNet. Explosive growth can lead to poor decisions made in haste, but at least folks are trying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Growing the bottom line and taking care of investors is important, but employees need to come first. Don't forget that in the face of exciting growth. A VAR is nothing without the knowledge and value-add that employees provide to clients.

I applied through other source. The process took 5+ weeksinterviewed at FishNet Security.

    Interview Details

Extensive interview process, and lengthy salary negotiation. Final offer was acceptable but not great. Position was explained as having a building process, but after the interview there turned out to be significant problems in territory. Company has mixed reputation - good in some cities and terrible in others. Company has lots of potential, but there is significant latitude given to existing employees over new arrivals.

    Interview Questions
    • How would you build a business in a highly competitive territory with little to no support?   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Difficult negotiation phase. Headhunter did most of the selling. Base was well below market for city, but upside looked very realistic.
    Accepted Offer
